The miracle repair factor - Ectoine

Form a water shield to lock water molecules, with excellent moisturizing effect

Ectoine is a cycled amino acid derivative with strong electronegativity and good hydrophilicity in its ring structure, which can make water molecules Orient around it and change the spatial arrangement of water molecules. At the same time, it can organize the surrounding amino acid derivatives and form a stable hydrated shell around the cell, which can maintain the osmotic pressure balance and reduce the excessive evaporation of water in the internal cell. It is equivalent to adding a protective shield to the outside of the cell to increase the cell's ability to fight and ensure that the molecules inside the cell can function normally.

In other words, ectonie has the ability to gather water together to form an "army" that protects cells, enzymes, proteins and other biomolecules from external stimuli.

Ectoine improved the dispersity and hydration of keratin bundles in keratinocytes more than water alone. In general, adults lose about 240-480mL of water per day through the skin surface, but if the skin stratum corneum is severely damaged, the loss of water can increase to 10 times the normal situation. Ecdoin molecules are small and highly soluble in water, and can quickly spread into the interior of the cell, promoting the aggregation of water molecules and reducing the proportion of free water.

Experiments have shown that ectoine and water molecules are tightly bound, and the structure is stable, which is not affected by time. However, the water molecules around glycerol decreased rapidly with the extension of time, indicating that ectoine can enhance the hydrogen bond between water molecules and can maintain moisture for a long time. This is one of Ectoine's core competencies.

To repair and protect the skin, sensitive muscle lifesaver

Ectoine can effectively protect Langerhans cells (Langhans cells are important immune cells of the skin, located in the keratinocytes of the epidermis of the skin, protect the skin against microorganisms, ultraviolet rays, allergens, etc.) from the damage of external stimuli, so as to enhance skin immunity, so that people have a strong skin physique. The scientists did the Granhans cell experiment. The experiments showed that the products of ectoine had a high degree and significant protective effect on Langerhans cells, and 0.5% ectoine could protect the Langerhans cells of UV irradiated skin completely.

Ectoine can effectively enhance the immune protection of skin cells, increase the skin care function of cells, so that the skin can effectively fight against the invasion of microorganisms and allergens.

Ectoine also protects the DNA of human skin cells from damage caused by UV-A radiation, preventing DNA strand breaks caused by ionizing electron radiation.

In the fight against ultraviolet light, ectoine can inhibit the cellular DNA damage caused by the longest wavelength UVA band of ultraviolet light, so as to achieve the protective effect of sun protection and anti-photoaging. The results showed that ectoine could significantly repair the cell damage caused by UV, 0.5% ectoine could restore the cell activity to 86%, and 3% ectoine could almost eliminate the damage caused by UV.

In summary, ectoine has a good repairing effect on skin damage caused by UVA, and can effectively enhance cell vitality.
