Alkyldiaminoethylglycine Hydrochloride in Medical Disinfectant Solution

Cate:News Center Time:2025-06-13

#Alkyldiaminoethylglycine Hydrochloride is a amphoteric surfactant with anions and cations in the molecule. In 1953, Schmitz reported that it has a strong bactericidal, cleaning and deodorizing ability, and has been widely used as a disinfectant since then. Alkyldiaminoethylglycine hydrochloride is effective against Gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, fungi and even Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It has the effect of washing and deodorizing. In addition, it has the characteristics of less precipitation of organic matter such as protein and less decrease of bactericidal power. The Alkyldiaminoethylglycine hydrochloride can be made into aqueous solutions with different concentrations such as 0.05%-0.5% for disinfection use.

Applications:

*Active ingredient for bactericides and preservatives in personal care products.

*Disinfection and cleaning in hospitals, industrial facilities, and households.

*Functions as emulsifier, dispersant, and antistatic agent in daily chemical products.

Key Features:

1.Amphoteric Surfactant: Exhibits both anionic and cationic properties.

2.Broad-Spectrum Efficacy: Effective against:

* Gram-positive bacteria

* Gram-negative bacteria

* Fungi

* Mycobacterium tuberculosis

3.Multifunctional: Combines cleaning, deodorizing, and bactericidal capabilities.

4.Protein Tolerance: Maintains high bactericidal efficiency even in protein-rich environments.

Formulation Guidelines:

Typically formulated as solutions containing 0.05%–0.5% (w/v) Alkyl Diaminoethylglycine HCl.
