Dipyridamole (58-32-2)

● Product Name: Dipyridamole

● DMF: CDMF

● CAS Number: 58-32-2

● Molecular Formula: C24H40N8O4

● Usage:Dipyridamole is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that can prevent red blood cells and vascular endothelial cells from taking up and metabolizing adenosine. Dipyridamole can also enhance the anti-aggregation effect of prostacyclin. Dipyridamole may simultaneously inhibit adenosine deaminase and phosphodiesterase, thereby preventing the degradation of the platelet function inhibitor cAMP. The increase in cAMP will prevent arachidonic acid from being released from membrane phospholipids and reduce the activity of thromboxane A2. Dipyridamole can also directly stimulate the release of prostacyclin, which can induce the activity of adenylate cyclase, thereby increasing the cAMP concentration within platelets and further inhibiting platelet aggregation.
